NEIGHBOURHOOD INTERVIEW

About me

An accidental traveller who shares life’s journeys on canvas. A three month sailing adventure from Cape Town to Gibraltar in 1998 and a Kiwi, eventually brought me to New Zealand in 1999.

Originally from South Africa, I studied Art at school and completed a Bachelors of Arts at the University of Pretoria in 1994.

My preferred medium is Acrylics, with its quick drying times and low toxicity. I use thin layers and washes to create different moods and light effects.

My narrative pieces often depict Journeys and ‘life happenings’ influenced by my travels, – Love, the Ocean, the Moon and Mother Nature.

My style has been described  as “a delicate simplicity and elegance, which touches the childlike side of the heart” But mostly I just hope you enjoy it.

I am represented by a few selected galleries with my work held in private collections in New Zealand and abroad. Visit my Blog if you’d like to read more about me and my work.
